Supporting Mental Health with Leanne Webster Brenner
Monday, April 27, 2:00-3:00 pm
Leanne will be presenting a workshop on anxiety & stress for students and parents. Parents and children have very different experiences and understanding of anxiety. Leanne will be covering both perspectives and speaking to children and adults during this talk.
Leanne will shift back and forth between parents and students, giving parents a little background info first before jumping into the ‘Brain Science for Kids’ lesson which leads us right into anxiety.

Holistic Nutrition for Kids with Shannon Simpson (Mindful Meals)
Tuesday, May 5, 10:00-10:45 am
This fun holistic nutrition class will introduce kids to mindful eating, the importance of eating a rainbow of colors and how whole food can feed our brains and help us learn. We will not focus on what is “good” or “bad” but instead what are the foods that make our bodies and brains grow big and strong and the “sometimes foods.” Children will also learn to make a delicious shake.
